Taking Stephen Duffy's Article in Magnet Magazine as his Reply to my Ignored Missive

Such an awkward anaemia in your version of bohemia,
Whilst notions of being enigmatic by not replying accrete,
And so forgive me if I, upon lacking a modest reply, treat
Your editorial as your stance to rectify your dreamier
Accretions of reticence.

I fear that you might see me one day, in the evening,
Poke my head sheepish round a door,
And you will say:
"Oh it's you. You are a cunt."
Late in the day, later in life, age scant covering
Our pudgy vertices with hoar,
You will say
That only.
